Ondo State OSOPADEC Scholarship Scheme invites applications from students in Tertiary Institutions from its mandates area to apply for Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) Scholarships.
The Ondo State OSOPADEC Scholarship is a sum of N1150,000 as educational support for undergraduate and postgraduate students of Nigerian tertiary institutions.

- The scholarship is open to students who are residents of oil-producing areas within Ondo State.
- Applicants must be pursuing their studies in recognized tertiary institutions, including universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
- The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and a monthly stipend to support the students’ educational expenses.
- The selection process is highly competitive, with emphasis placed on academic excellence, financial need, and community involvement.
Ondo State OSOPADEC Scholarship 2025 Requirements
All intended applicants must meet the following requirements;
- Must be indigenes of either Ilaje or Ese-Odo Local Government Area
- Must be full-time students of recognized Private or Public Tertiary Institutions within the country as of the 2025 Academic Session
- Both undergraduate and Postgraduate, as well as students of the Nigerian Law School, are also eligible to apply in so much as their school/universities authorities acknowledge their studentship; and
- All Part-time/sandwich, Pre-degree, NTI Certificate/Diploma students and others from an institution not accredited by relevant government agencies are not qualified for this award.
2025 OSOPADEC Scholarship Duration and Reward
The Ondo State OSOPADEC Scholarship will provide a sum of;
- N50,000 for undergraduates
- N100,000 for Masters and Postgraduate Diploma students
- N150,000 for PhD students

- One recent Passport Photograph
- Evidence of Local Government Area of Origin
- JAMB Admission Letter
- School fees receipts
- Current valid Student Identity Card. (ID)

- No change of bank will be entertained after submission of the application.
- Applicants are to print out the registration slip.
- The registration slip MUST be signed and stamped by the Dean of Students Affairs / HOD (as applicable)
- The signed slip MUST be uploaded to complete the registration; and
